I just wrote a paper at UC Berkeley about workflow management in professional photography – or in other words – about Aperture and your competitor Adobe Lightroom. My conclusion in this paper is that both applications are pretty good in all the post-production stuff – but why don´t they cover the pre-production?
If you look at the basic approaches of the workflow management theory it would be quite reasonable to include workflows that accrue in the run-up of shootings. Customer agreements, notes to different projects, rough drafts, eMails and appointments could be included / connected with Aperture. Of course in the very simple apple way. This would be the ultimate piece of software for all professional photographers and way ahead of Adobe.Kind regards
